Jeremy Shilley - Bagpipe Instructor
Jeremy Shilley has been active in the Northwest music scene since his youth. In addition to his extensive experience as a studio teacher he brings with him his very diverse background as a conductor, director, vocalist, and bagpiper. Jeremy received his formal music education at Pacific Lutheran University, where he began pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in music education and conducting. Midway through his studies, his academic focus shifted to vocal performance. Jeremy has had the opportunity to study conducting under Kathryn Lehmann, Dr. Richard Nance, Dr. Edwin Powell, and has master classed with Dale Warland of the Dale Warland Singers. Jeremy’s voice and bagpipe students are known for high achievements.
As the primary vocal coach for Spanaway Lake HS, Bethel HS, and Cedarcrest JH, Jeremy had over half of his students receive a rating of 1 (excellent) at this year’s solo and ensemble contest with three students making second runner up for state. He also has students performing with area musical theatre companies and opera houses. His piping students have received awards from contests all around the Puget Sound and can be heard performing in five different bands in the area.
Jeremy’s own performance career is active and diverse, singing roles with such companies as Tacoma Opera and Bellevue Opera, and has spent three years as a supplemental chorister for the Seattle Opera. He has been a strong bagpipe competitor and professional pipe soloist for many years. He has piped for three live television broadcast including the high profile memorial service of Crystal Brame. Jeremy has conducted and directed for a variety of groups such as the Tacoma Norwegian Children’s Choir (2 years), The Northwest McGregor Pipe Band (4 years), The Peninsula Pipes & Drums (6 years), and the Tahoma Voices Chorale (3 years). Jeremy is also the conductor and founder of the new and exciting choral group, Sonoro which will be performing throughout the northwest!

Allie Guerrero - Tenor & Bass Instructor
Allie Guerrero, Tenor and Bass Section Instructor from Seattle, WA. Allie is a tenor drummer in the Grade 2 James J. Coyne Memorial Pipe Band from Los Angeles, CA.
She is a former member of the Keith Highlanders Pipe Band and the New Westminster Police Pipe Band. She has competed several times at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, and placed 6th in the Grade 2 competition in 2009.
Allie has enjoyed a successful solo career in the British Columbia Pipers Association since 1999 and is a tenor and bass instructor to both solo students and fire department pipe bands in the Greater Seattle/Metro area.
